FAQs

Common questions about studying in Dubai.

I didn't qualify for a direct UK/Australia admission — is Dubai a downgrade?+

No — it's a smart pathway, not a downgrade. The same UK, Australian and Canadian degree-awarding bodies operate campuses in Dubai; students build academic readiness via Foundation/Pathway programs and can progress to Bachelor's/Master's, subject to university policy.

Do I need to show proof of funds like other countries?+

Most Dubai universities do not require proof of funds, ITR or bank statements — a major advantage over UK/Australia/Canada routes.

What will it actually cost me?+

Tuition ranges AED 50,000–100,000/year depending on level, with scholarships up to 40% available. The visa deposit (AED 4,000–5,000) is refundable after you complete your studies.

Can I work while studying?+

Yes — up to 20 hrs/week during term and full-time during semester breaks, subject to UAE labour law and university rules. Eligible students can also apply for a Post-Study Work Visa.

I don't have IELTS — can I still apply?+

Many partner universities accept MOI (Medium of Instruction) from your previous institution instead of IELTS/PTE/TOEFL — confirmed case-by-case by university.

How fast is the process?+

Dubai is known for fast admission and visa processing with minimal documentation and a high visa success rate.
